Wow, been busy for the past year. Almost forgot about this thing. Summer was the usual cold and foggy, though there were some nice days. Lately, the weather has been nice. How nice!! School is keeping me VERY busy. Write, write, write, that's all I do. I ain't complaining, but it might be nice to get a little XBOX in here and there. I'm just dying to hear "Counter-terrorists win." Call me patriotic.

My guilty conscience makes we watch "Black Hawk Down" every time I hear about soldiers getting killed in Iraq. What a fucked up mess that is. As I'm sure y'all know, I'm voting for Kerry. He's the best guy to clean up the political and diplomatic mess, not only in Iraq, but with Europe too. I really cannot fathom the depths of ignorance it takes to give the finger to our historical allies. Russia might not be a threat right now, but with the way Putin is solidifying his power, it is starting to look quite oppressive again. It's not a good time to be divided with our most powerful allies.

Looks like it's strike three in Florida. I was watching Ivan churn up Pensacola earlier. That shit sucks, but at least with a hurricane you get little warning. We're not so lucky in California with our earthquakes. The prospect of a major Earthquake here makes me wonder if it was such a good idea to loft our bed. But that might be a moot point because we saw this huge apartment today, and our odds are pretty good. We might be moving up the hill a bit, and getting a dog too. Cool. We need dog.

In all, San Francisco is a fucking beautiful city. Come visit!! I would love to show you around. The possibilities really seem to explode exponentially compared to anything I've experienced before. There just isn't the time (or money) to do everything, and in a way, that is part of the charm. It's very hard to get bored here, and the fog is beautiful.
