Hmm, now I'm a trendy blogger, I guess.

People keep saying that "9-11 happened." I hear it so frequently that it feels like it will replace the expression "shit happens." If that happens, then maybe we won't say "shit" when something bad happens, we'll just say "9-11." Doesn't seem to have the same ring to it though.

Funny how all the good cuss words end with hard consonants. Maybe that's why Americans don't like German much, too many hard consonants. That whole wwii thing didn't help much either. However, beer (that's bier in Deutsch) is still a beautiful word.

Funny, the blog spell checker doesn't know the words "blog" or "blogger."
